Pheil Forges is owned and operated by Bob Pheil, a
member of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America and Balcones
Forge, Central Texas Blacksmith Association. A master magician
when it comes to turning a piece of raw metal into beautiful items for
the home or office, Bob has been blacksmithing non-stop since opening
his shop in 1999.
Pheil Forges focuses on producing the finest quality
ironwork using traditional blacksmithing methods that are centuries
old.
Bob has been a featured demonstrator at the respected
Texas Arts and Crafts Fair and at the Texas Cowboys Artists Museum.
His work has been featured in newspapers across the state and USA Today (see clipping).
Bob is a member of the Texas Mesquite Association. He was one of 60 artisans from across the nation accepted for the prestigious Western Design Conference in Cody, WY in Sept 06 and
juried exhibitor at the Texas Furniture Maker Show in Kerrville, TX since 2005.
His Texas Star Bed (shown in the March 07 Woodcraft magazine) won "Best Mixed Media" at the juried Kerrville show in 2006.
In 2009, he won an Honorable Mention at the
Texas Furniture Makers
show in Kerrville.
